Hey y’all! I’m Tara, the owner of Simple Marketing & Media.

I’m a storyteller at heart with years of experience in production, both in front of and behind the camera in Los Angeles, before bringing my work to Texas. After moving to Austin, I partnered with local businesses, managed content creators, and built a freelance marketing career that eventually led me here.

Along the way, one thing became clear: marketing works best when it’s simple.

With so many strategies and trends competing for attention, it’s easy for brands to feel overwhelmed. I saw firsthand that the businesses who grow aren’t doing everything — they’re focusing on what actually matters. Simple Marketing & Media was created to bring clarity, direction, and effective content without the chaos.

Proudly based in the Austin area, my work is rooted in creativity, community, and connection. I love working with local businesses, but bring the same energy and intention to clients everywhere.

As a boutique agency, I stay hands-on with every account. I believe in truly understanding each brand, staying flexible when plans change, and creating smart, effective marketing without overcomplicating the process.

We worked with Tigirlily Gold to create a full content plan around two of their songs—with the goal of pushing their music through the dance world. We developed the creative direction, shot lists, storytelling flow, and a ton of videos for all platforms!
